Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the YMCA. The YMCA uses programming volunteers, event volunteers and policy volunteers that serve on YMCA boards. Which will you be? Contact the YMCA branch nearest you and let us know in what capacity you would like to volunteer.

Ozarks Regional YMCA offers many volunteer opportunities that include:

Actively participating on our Corporate Board of Directors or on one of our Branch Board of Managers.

Helping with special events such as Artsfest, Polar Bear Run, PriceCutter Charity Championship Run, Cider Days, Healthy Kids Day, Boo Bash, and Rock 'N' Ribs Rock 'N' Y Playzone.

Many other opportunites exist that are not listed. If you have a gift, skill or talent that you would like to share please contact your local YMCA.

We also offer volunteer opportunities for the following:

• College students participating in classes which require volunteer service
• Community groups who wish to promote volunteerism among their members
• Employees of companies that encourage volunteer service in the community
• Court ordered volunteers who have obtained YMCA approval to volunteer and who have passed background checks
