Pat Jones YMCA has always been more than a building. As a non-profit organization it has strived to serve all people regardless of income or economic standing. In fact, last year alone, the Jones Y provided $398,311.82 in financial assistance to deserving children and families—$44,004 of which provided family memberships to foster families in Greene County.

Located at 1901 E. Republic Rd. in Springfield, MO the facility serves the flourishing southern section of the Springfield Metro Area, Republic, Nixa and Ozark and Sparta. It boasts ample parking, a soccer basin with four soccer fields and a half-mile outdoor walking track. Inside, the full-service facility features a large indoor track, indoor pool, family/women's and men's locker rooms, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, a group exercise area, a massage therapist, two basketball courts, a cardio floor and a weight room with a full line of free weights and Cybex Machines.

Established in 1989, the Jones Y has served hundreds of thousands of children and families over the last 17 years. During that same time, membership has increased from 3,000 to 11,000 members and is projected to grow to 15,000 members by 2008.

The renovations and expansions proposed in the master plan will meet this need while advancing the Y’s mission, “To promote Judeo-Christian values through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.”

As the Jones Y plans to expand their physical structure, they continue to build the character of all members, participants, volunteers and staff through programs which stress caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Joining Pat Jones YMCA is easy! Just come fill out a membership application in-person at your Pat Jones YMCA Welcome Center. You will pay a building fee and your first month's membership fee at that time. Or, you can pay in one lump sum for the entire year.

After paying in-person, you may choose to have your monthly membership fee deducted from your bank account (bank draft) or from your credit card (credit card draft)..

Then, just take advantage of all your local YMCA has to offer you: member program discounts, fitness, child care while you work out, community-building special events, and the feeling of knowing that being part of the YMCA is helping to build strong kids and families in your community through our not-for-profit status and mission to make our communities better places to work, live and grown up in.
